Cambodia's Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone Saw a 50% Year-on-Year Increase in Imports and Exports in the First Four Months of the Year

Cambodia's Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone has once
again bucked the trend in the face of the ongoing tests brought about by the
COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce on May
17. From January to April this year, the total import and export volume of
enterprises in the region reached 930 million US dollars, an increase of 50%
over the same period last year, maintaining the development momentum of bucking
the growth.
Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone has always
prioritized optimizing services and creating a good business environment as a
cluster investment platform for the transnational development of industrial
enterprises. It has taken it as its major social responsibility to stimulate
employment and promote local economic and social development.
